Valentine’s Day is around the corner and these celebs are serving all the looks in the run-up. From effortless cut-creases debuted by Victoria Monét to Ariel-inspired wigs from Doja Cat, we’re tapping into all these looks in this week’s beauty round-up.

At this point, everyone from Kylie Jenner to Beyoncé has rocked this style and we need a tutorial. Slicked back into a tight pony-braid, Justine Skye’s latest hair look is completed with laid edges and auburn and brown highlights, before topping off the whole look with a striking blue glittering eye.

“Moment” singer Victoria Monét just inaugurated herself as the fifth member of the Cheetah Girls with this fierce cat-eye. Going for a golden brown eye, the singer topped of the bronzed look with hints of shimmering cheetah prints on the lid. Originally taken as a concept from her Jaguar album, the vision is all about the details as she completes the entire look with glittering skin and diamonds galore.

While we’re currently looking at our nails in despair, due to the closure of salons, Thee Stallion came through with some inspo for when we return opting for a green coffin set. Jumping on the current reverse ombre trend with blue, green and hints of yellow, the “WAP” rapper finished the look with some icy rings and chains before captioning the post with “New $et”.

Doja Cat has been giving us wig after wig these past few weeks, and now she’s channelling her inner Ariel with this long red look. Adding Bantu Knots to the frontal, the “Say So” singer mixed in some small braids in between, for a fresh outer water mermaid look – minus the wet hair. And of course, the singer added some make-up to her look, as she opted for a subtle blue eye with illuminating white dots.

Let’s be honest, we’ve all at some point these past three lockdowns attempted to turn ourselves into makeshift hairdressers, channelling our inner beauty queen and trying out new looks and styles.
