Infusing elements of old-school soul with upbeat energetic rhythms, the rising singer unleashes her powerhouse vocals on the single and instantly gets you moving. Directed by Dua Lipa and Sam Smith favourite Grace Pickering, the video takes us on a nostalgic rhythm, inviting us to celebrate life and find our own sense of joy, even at home. Climaxing the video with an ethereal performance, the singer enters a dreamy kaleidoscope of hues and gives us a retro show that has us feeling like we’re in the 60s.

Opening up on the video, the singer revealed, “It’s a heightened reality, of colour, sparkling dreams and a party for one. The song expresses the excitement and nerves of having feelings for someone, but ultimately is a celebration of a lust for life. Working with one of my oldest friend’s Grace Pickering as director was a total joy, she understands my taste particularly well because we’ve been dressing up and talking about our style inspirations since we were teenagers. This video was created to excite, inspire and encourage people to let go and turn up the music.”

With the song being the most played record on Radio 2 earlier this month, the singer entered the Top 10 on the UK Radio Charts and is set for a takeover in 2021.
