If there’s one love song that is a must-add to that romantic feel-good playlist, it’s hip-hop artist Danny Jai’s new single “You and I”, boasting a hypnotic R&B bassline filled with sultry rhythms and melodies. Coming from a Mexican-American background, the singer infuses his culture into this single, as we hear Latin-inspired lyricism as he dives into his experiences and innermost desires.

Opening up on the release, the singer revealed, “When I was creating this song, I really thought about how I wanted people to feel when they were listening to it. I’m all about positivity and good vibes, so that’s the mood I was going for.”

With an established fanbase and various performances tucked under his belt, the singer has been steadily building his catalogue over the years, pulling on inspiration from the likes of Lil Wayne and Chris Brown. With the year just starting, we’re expecting a big year from the twenty-something as he prepares for various releases.
