Kicking off 2021 with a pop banger is indie band Wild Youth with their euphoric new single “Champagne Butterflies”. Blending old-school funk vibes with a contemporary synth production, the band provide us with a catchy hook that explodes at the chorus and transports us to the distant memory of summer. Having left fans clamouring for more since their debut last year with dreamy hit “Next to You”, the Irish group’s latest single was worth the wait as they continue to hone their production prowess and lyricism.

The homegrown quartet – comprised of lead vocalist David Whelan, Conor O’Donohoe, Ed Porter and Callum McAdam – had a roaring 2020 having racked in over 1.2 million streams on Spotify alone for “Next To You”. Known for their risk-taking and genre-bending sound, the group are proving that they are constantly evolving and we’re excited for whatever the group have in store for us this year.
