Hulu has came through for us this year, as they have kept us preoccupied with Little Fires Everywhere and Black-ish during lockdown, but now the streaming giant is now set to profile one of Hollywood’s most iconic couples and the scandal that rocked the industry. Yes, that’s right – we are getting a biopic of Baywatch star Pamela Anderson and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee’s high-profile relationship.
Dominating the tabloids for years, the former rockstar couple will have their story told by Rebecca star Lily James and Marvel’s very own Bucky Barnes actor Sebastian Stan, as the show will uncover their relationship, including the honeymoon sex tape which was stolen and leaked to the public.
Also on board for the series, Seth Rogen is set to play the man who stole the tape, while I, Tonya director Craig Gillespie will be directing and Rob Siegel writing. While the scandalous sex tape will play a major part of the series, the 8-episode drama will also shed light on their whirlwind romance which saw the duo marrying after only knowing each other for 96 hours in 1995 and the legal dispute that followed. Anderson and Lee are not said to be involved in Pam & Tommy, but the duo are aware of the project that is set to start production in the spring.
