If there was an MVP for 2020, Manchester United star Marcus Rashford would be top of our list. From his campaigns on homelessness and child hunger to the free school meals program, the footballer has continued to voice his stance on issues in society, and now British fashion house Burberry are here to celebrate the star. Following on from her first collaboration with Burberry, British college artist Jazz Grant has created a unique mural overlaying childhood images of the English international footballer with portraits taken from his recent Burberry campaign.

The mural, which is located on 31 Thomas Street Manchester, poses as a tribute to Rashford as the fashion brand move to encourage and empower the future generation as well as supporting local communities.

Speaking on the creation of the mural, Grant said, “It was all about creating something uplifting, positive and dynamic with a sense of community and supporting the youth. I wanted it to feel really exciting but also to have subtle textures and tones, essences of its immediate surroundings so that in a way it blended into its environment.”

The mural is available for viewing from 17 December until 4 January 2021.
