Returning with a relentless alt-pop banger is Montreal-hailed artist Emi Jeen with her brand new video for “Other Side”. Dripping in sultry lyricism and innovative production, the singer packs the tune with attitude for a powerful performance. Accompanied by a video directed by the woman behind shows for Billie Eilish and Ed Sheeran, Aude Guivarc’h, the singer pours out every emotion into a fierce dance, while the light eerily flicks between black and white.

Taking inspiration from her own personal experience of trauma and bullying, Emi Jeen opens up on track stating, “’Other Side’ is a manifesto to the world telling them that we are all done with the hate, control, racism, sexism, dictatorship going on in the world. It doesn’t matter where you are from, what colour you are or what you believe in, we are all warriors and we will fight together. We will no longer stay inside the box and keep quiet.”

Growing up surrounded by music, the singer started out in pop girl group A.K.A before embarking on a solo journey and cementing herself as a one-to-watch.
