Bringing together fashion and video gaming is British designer Marc Jacques Burton with his new capsule collection with Mortal Kombat and world-famous boxing brand Everlast. Celebrating the launch of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, the designer enlists superstar “WAP” rapper Megan Thee Stallion, MMA fighter Michael Venom Page, super DJ Dimitri Vegas and homegrown British rapper M24 for the campaign. Debuting various signature masked hoodies and masks, the collection boasts dragon logos with punk 70s stitching for fierce fight-ready boxing gloves and hoodies.
Created using upcycled vintage British Military Fabric, the collection takes pride in its recycling aspect, using eco-friendly material for water bottles, playing cards, sticker packs and notebooks. Known for working with notable celebs such as Migos, Future, Meek Mill and the late Juice Wrld, Marc Jacques Burton embodies his love for the 80s New York art scene with flashes of female power and retro-arcade nostalgia for this collection.
The collection was released online November 30th at Selfridges.com and a pop-up is scheduled to take place in-store at Selfridges Oxford Street.
