From four Grammy nods to Paul Mescal in her music video, it’s fair to say Phoebe Bridgers has won this year. Dropping the video for her single “Savior Complex” today, the singer collaborates with British Fleabag actor, writer and producer Phoebe Waller-Bridge for a striking video. Shot in black and white, the video sees Normal People’s Paul Mescal bruised on a beach with an ever so teensy dog, with Bridgers appearing in seven scenes as the “Saviour Complex”, driving by, and then later as a hotel clerk.
Having secured herself four Grammy nominations last week for Best New Artist, Best Alternative Album, Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance, the singer is set to perform the song tomorrow or The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon with a special edition filmed at LA’s Magic Castle.
