Endless literature, music, film has been devoted to exploring that all-consuming first spark of madness, known universally as falling in love. We just can’t get enough. And one artist adding to the canon in the most addictive way possible is Stockholm-hailed rising star JOSEFINE with her new single.

Perfectly encapsulating that dizzy, endorphin-filled moment when you get that strange look on your face and the heart flutters, “Dreamin'” thumps into life with an undulating tempo, bolstered by a fizzing pop melody and Josefine’s self-assured undulating vocals.

“Dreamin'” is one of the personal and intimate testimonies for me immortalising those high endorphin and super nostalgic moments when you first begin to fall in love and you need to pinch yourself to see whether you are dreaming or not and whether this other human in front of you truly feels the same crazy feelings,” explains Josefine. “I wanted to capture those butterfly-filled and super passionate and irreplaceable moments which are engraved in time. To complement this, I wanted to make a song and production that just has super dancey energy to take you away from all the craziness of 2020 and dance the night away too.”

The LA-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is trained in everything from classic piano, flamenco guitar to hard rock drums, even graduating from the world-renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, where previous students have included boundary-pushing pop icons Robyn, Tove Lo and Icona Pop.
