Giving us a glimpse into his progressive and exhilarating journey is soul powerhouse Ziggy Albert with his latest single “heartbeat”. Turning a break-up song into an upbeat guitar-led tune filled with optimism and adoration, Albert hones in on his songwriting ability for this track as he navigates the hardship of long-term relationship and long-lost summer adventures.

“heartbeat is a song about how love brings us together no matter how far we are apart… a breakup song, turned into a story of hope and trust on a summer adventure,” said Ziggy. “[The song] talks about the past and present, finding resolution in the common thread of all good things – love.”

The release of the new single follows an incredible past year for the independent singer-songwriter who concluded with an impressive 100+ World Tour and a string of heartwarming bangers including “together” and “don’t get caught up”. With the tunes set to appear on his forthcoming album searching for freedom, we’re curious to see what the singer has in store for his fifth project.
