Husband and wife duo Moxi return with their latest single “Blame It”, and we’re getting Terror Jr vibes. Injecting us with elements of modern pop and electronica, the duo have built a dark and dreamy soundscape filled with cinematic melodies and moody guitar sonics. With Anna’s introspective vocals layered with Andy’s haunting production, the tune takes us on an evocative ride of Anna’s inner thoughts.

Speaking on the release, Anna said, “It’s a peek into my brain. I tell friends a lot that I wish they could just be in my mind for second because it’s so insane in there. There is a lot of chaos, self-sabotage, weird ideas, and a lot of beautiful things too…but it can get really dark. I wrote this song after a fight with Andy. Almost every fight we have is caused by me and I’m usually the one who behaves horribly before, during and after. Blame It is about the inner dialogue that goes through my mind on a regular day.”

Having amassed over an impressive 1.5 million streams for their single “Save Me”, which went viral on Spotify and social media, it’s fair to say the duo have an incredible journey ahead of them and we’re curious to see what else they have in store for us in the coming months.
