When times are hard and we often find solace in tunes that resonate with exactly how we’re feeling, newcomer Akine is channelling raw and impassioned emotions for her new single “Lighthouse”. Through the crooning heartfelt vocals and thunderous production, Akine bares her soul for her latest single, reflecting on her own personal battles and frustrations.

Commenting on the release of the single, Akine said, “I wrote “Lighthouse” at a time when I was overwhelmed with insecurities and felt so out of place in my surroundings. I hope that anyone who feels like I did will hear this and remember that they aren’t alone, and there are always ways out of bad situations.”

The Ukraine-hailed singer’s latest tune marks the first release since her stellar debut EP “Don’t Foster Fear” back in 2018. With her original plans for 2020 thrown into chaos, Akine revealed that she has indeed been working on new music and that this might be her best yet…
