Shaking up the British rap game on this fine Tuesday is none other than Leicestershire-hailed singer-songwriter & MC, Queen Millz. With strong Jamaican and British roots, Millz’s sound is rooted in the sound system culture of the UK, fusing touches of jungle, grime reggae and R&B in all of her hypnotic bars and melodies.

Collaborating with The HeavyTrackerz (Dizzee Rascal, Ghetts, Lethal Bizzle, and JME) on her new track “Aye Aye!”, Millz’s latest hit goes out to all those rich men who haven’t developed yet, emotionally speaking. You know the ones, they lurk on Tinder and Hinge, promising you the world in exchange for their incredibly dead chats and even deader personalities.

“You get those guys that chase the finer things and only care about looking good. The ones that buy you nice things & take you places to cover up a bad attitude & lack of kindness,” Millz explains. “That’s not what you want from a ‘Ride or Die.’ This song is about seeing through that & focusing on what’s important.”

“Aye aye aye,” Millz calls on the entrancing, summer-y chorus, “you got me saying my oh my!” We’re hoping the sun comes back around so we can enjoy this whilst sipping on cocktails in the park, just as this Queen intended…
