Debuting their latest assortment of modern yet practical fits, Universal Works’ latest collection was conceived, designed and developed in 2020 B.C. (before COVID). You know, that joyous time where we could gallivant to clubs, pubs and fezzies without a care in the world…

It’s the British brand’s 23rd offering since opening their doors in 2009, and what an offering it was. The natural tones of earth took centre stage, think rich brown patchwork jackets, trousers in deep navy corduroy, with splashes of yellow and caramel also creeping in for the perfect for Autumn mix.

As always, there was never any set ‘theme’. The brand are always far too caught up with creating well-treasured designs to be worried about trends or seasonal must-haves. They just want to making sure we’re covered for work and play, taking their blue-collar workwear roots and refitting them here with a baggy twist, in low-crotched carpenter jeans, slouchy grey knits and cosy plaid zip-ups in crisp burnt orange and olive green.
