Have you ever seen a more ravishing widow and femme fatale than right this very moment? Probably not. As Netherlands-hailed band The Indien are here to slay with their haunting visuals for brand new track “Longtime Lover”, the follow-up to “Blame You”, their previous single released earlier this year. Expect grave-digging, fabulous outfits, and The Princess Bride-style game of wits (and poison).

Comprised of lead vocalist Rianne Walther, guitarist Casper Talsma and the rest of the band, the innovative outfit – who are the first band in their lane to sign to Tinie Tempah and Dumi Oburota’s Disturbing London – have been making waves with their intoxicating dream-pop which weaves 60s-style analogue production, imbued with hints of indie, R&B and soul.

“Longtime Lover is a song about not standing your ground in relationships,” explains Rianne. “The song starts off pretty mellow, mirroring the narrative of just going along with everything the lover wants, but in a dysfunctional way.”
