“We’re at a point now where each day is not promised and there’s so much happening, where you owe it to yourself to get as close to what you want in life as possible,” he explains. “And for me, as an artist, I don’t have to compromise or change who I am just to be signed or to have more this or that. I’d rather get what I want, say what I want to say and be who I want to be while I’m here — and it took me a minute to kind of realise that, to stand in that and to grow in that.”
After starting out acting in Days of Our Lives, Royal Crush and Emmy Award-winning series Friday Night Lights, as well as taking part in X Factor, singing with his former band Citizen Four and collaborating with the likes of Rebecca Black, Josh Levi is establishing himself as a solo artist with his debut EP, “DISC ONE”. Citing Queen, Prince and Beyoncé as influences, he unpacks the project, which includes his quarantine single and video “If The World”, and his vision for the future for the Autumn issue of Wonderland magazine.
