For fans of BANKS and Lorde comes a simmering new presence on the scene: Floridian quartet The Haunt – comprised of guitarist/vocalist Maxamillion Haunt, singer Anastasia Grace, bassist Natalie Smallish and drummer Nick Lewert – with their striking brand of futuristic pop, cut with flashes of rumbling punk.

And their latest angst-ridden track “Constant”, taken from their forthcoming EP “Social Intercourse”, is a heart-thumping exploration of the tumultuous inconsistencies and drama often experienced in teenage relationships. We’ve all been there. The song draws upon personal experience, written by guitarist/vocalist Haunt, with the dramatic line “f*ck your wants and your needs” as a direct quote from the girl it was written for – deftly showcasing the impressive vulnerability of the group’s songwriting and the vocal prowess of Grace in the delivery. And the visuals are an atmospheric showcase of the band’s performance style and charisma.

“Constant was one of those songs that just wrote itself,” explains The Haunt. “From lyrics, to melody, and even production, every step of the way it was almost effortless. It’s a song about lasting love in an erratic world and how sometimes the only thing that’s consistent is change.”
