BOSS’ SS21 collection is all about seizing this moment of creative renewal. BOSS have taken stock after the worst of COVID-19 has hit, and want to prioritise what’s important to us all. Held at The Palazzo del Senat, where the first-ever BOSS Womenswear show was held exactly 20 years ago, the brand invited the entire world to view the spectacle via TikTok, WeChat and Youtube. After all, it’s not every collection the BOSS man and woman walk in tandem to a whole new era.
Collaborating with London-based found-objects artist William Farr, these two entities have married flowers with an array of unusual materials, from embroidery to prints, trading in the austere and smart for the young and fun. Think fresh pastels, slinky track pants and hoodies worn under blazers. They love colour – whether it be forest green, soft rose or vivid emerald – and above all, they know how to style a pair of shorts. It marks a step in a new direction for the brand, with the BOSS man and woman revealing themselves as fresher, sportier, and wholly more casual individuals altogether – did we mention we want every piece?
