The boundary-pushing Hackney act have dropped the house party visuals for their swirling R&B track.

If there is any song to lead you hand first, hips second, into the weekend, it’s “KITCHEN”, repping wavy R&B soundscapes straight from Hackney rising stars GRAMN.

Bubbling synths, zip-quick compositions and smooth rollicking basslines – not to mention the effervescent soulful vocals from frontwoman Aux. No doubt, it’s a play and repeat deal. And the visuals are a DIY house party, packed out (of course) with friends, family, delicious food, and good, good vibes.

Their rollicking debut EP “MEDIUMN” put the outfit firmly on the radar, and if “KITCHEN” – the first taster from their forthcoming new project, “MINIMUMN” – is anything to go by, 2020 is set to be their year.

“My hair is my kitchen, my studio is my kitchen and my kitchen is my kitchen,” explains Aux. “So there’s levels to it. And I’m the king of all 3 unless my mum is around. Has your mum ever cussed you for trying to eat straight out the pot? What kinda loser is queen of the ends until her mum is around? ‘Kitchen’ is about being the ‘hostess with the mostest’, except I don’t have the most, I do the most. And underneath it all is chaos.”
