French singer-songwriter Mottron is leading us into a melancholic winter filled with slow-moving rhythms for his latest single “Run”. Taken from his upcoming debut LP, the 32-year-old takes us through three minutes of building melodies, soft vocals and synth-pop inspired bass lines for a delicate and dark soundscape. The self-taught musician releases the song with an artistic visual in tow, where we see the singer in the back of a car being followed by the police before ultimately run away and collapsing in a snow-filled forest.

Mottron’s latest single follows up from his previous moving tune “They Know” and the stunning “Indecent”. The singer’s approach to music breaks away from the world of commercial pop and instead is filled with rethought electronics and mesmerising piano cuts. With his album on the way, we say tune out from the world and tune in to the euphoric singer for ultimate relaxation vibes.
