It might be a start of the new school year, but it’s also the start of a new era for FENDI as they have announced Kim Jones as Artistic Director of haute couture, ready-to-wear and fur collections for women. The designer who will also maintain his role as Artistic Director of DIOR Men will join Silvia Venturini Fendi, who will continue to create accessories and menswear collections.

Fendi’s chairman and CEO Serge Brunschwig said, “I am thrilled to welcome Kim Jones at FENDI. Kim is one of the most talented and relevant designers of today. With Silvia Venturini Fendi, who has virtuously carried on FENDI and Karl Lagerfeld legacy, Kim will bring his contemporary one of a kind point of view into the world of FENDI.”

Kim Jones will present his first FENDI ready-to-wear collection for Fall/Winter 2021-22 during Milan Fashion Week in February.
