It’s been just over a year since Lana Del Rey buried us without a spade in the deepest, darkest recesses of our feels. Thank you, Norman Fucking Rockwell! Her 2019 sixth studio album marked the American songwriter’s combustion and rebirth, like a phoenix aflame raining eloquent and progressive lyricism, as well as her signature melancholic tones.

Since then, we’ve been eagerly awaiting her seventh studio album, Chemtrails Over the Country Club, which was announced back in May. And now, we’ve received our first tasty morsel of a teaser.

In a new video uploaded to her Instagram, she teases the first glimpse of the video set for the lead track from her forthcoming album. The star sits in a vintage car, bedazzled in jewels and white lace gloves, explaining it is the “very contained” video set for her title track, adding that we’ll first hear another song: “Let Me Love You Like A Woman”. She adds: “I just want you to know that I love the record, and I love you guys, and I can’t wait to see you soon. Probably in 2030. Just kidding, see you in 2029.”

Don’t joke with us queen.
