Here with a new track to have us firmly and deeply in our feels is nomad and rising star Twinnie. We can all relate to that experience of free-falling in love, without any caution or preservation, and the singer-songwriter has captured this universal experience with simmering pop offering “Whiplash”.

Soaring percussion, mesmerising melodies and the honeyed emotive vocals of Twinnie make for a perfect summer hit.

“‘Whiplash’ stands alone to me with its sound which I love.” Twinnie reflects. “It’s about falling in love with someone unapologetically and not caring if it goes wrong or not. Living for the moment and being totally wrapped up in that person.”

And the music video sees the artist frolicking through the streets of London, before escaping to the country and running through fields with wild abandon.

This follows the drop of her hypnotic debut album, Hollywood Gypsy, earlier this year, recorded between London, Nashville and Sweden and putting Twinnie firmly on the map. Watch this space.
