Five years after his addictive debut project Carte Blanche, Accra-based producer Rvdical the Kid is back with his new EP “Little Planet”. Blessing us with five glorious tracks, the producer weaves groovy textures with colourful rhythms for an infectious and bright soundscape. Dreamy R&B track “Often” is a standout tune with ethereal vocals and oscillating synths complimenting each other and transporting us to late-night car rides with nothing but good vibes.

Speaking on the release, the artist said, “This idea of a ‘Little Planet’ just comes from the fact that I was able to create my own world, independent of the real-life and I was able to find these like-minded people who really understood what I was trying to say musically, and who were literally on the same path and journey as me. You have musicians who I work with that have grown to be my family, like AyWy from Australia, who is basically my Indian twin brother, and Maesu, with whom our friendship has grown so much more than the music, as well as Yonkwi, who is slowly now tapping into my world and me into his.”

The Beninois-Ghanaian producer has collaborated with likes of Amaarae, rising star Nonso Amadi and newcomer Yonkwi for this memorising project. Tune out from the world and lose yourself in this encapsulating EP.
