Offering us a bold and progressive new tune is dream-pop singer Rebecka Reinhard with “No Release”. With soft melodic guitars and angelic echoing vocals, Reinhard draws us in with building crescendos ultimately exploding in a cascade of thunderous guitars and rich vocals. The single is accompanied by a vivid video, capturing the cinematic themes of the song and showcasing the song’s final moments.

“No Release” follows on from the Swedish singer’s last single “Whale”, which are both taken from the singer’s upcoming EP due out August 21. With her music being compared to the likes of Mazzy Star and the early 90s shoegazing movement, it will be interesting to see what her EP will entail – watch this space.
