Transporting us to a glistening pool on a hot summer’s day is Los Angeles-hailed singer XYLØ, with her new tune “CHLORINE”. Having found success with her brooding debut EP “America” back in 2015, the singer continues her streak of dark-pop tunes with a sultry new single. With unapologetic lyrics driven by a sensual bass line, XYLØ pines for fun summer days in a quarantine self-made video.
Speaking on the tune, the singer said, “’CHLORINE’ is a daydream of a backyard and a swimming pool on a hot summer’s day, rather than being stuck inside my K-Town apartment for months on end. I literally bought an inflatable pool to put on my rooftop so I could float and pretend it was the real deal.”
The LA native has been making waves the industry for a while now, with over 350 million + streams on Spotify alone and a loyal cult-like fanbase. With more music on the way, we’re excited for what else the singer has in store for 2020.
