PREMIERE: TTRRUUCES THE DISCO

A kaleidoscopic, hip-shaking night of debauchery is in order with the duo’s brand new visuals for their dancefloor filler.

From it’s first few opening bars, “The Disco” fizzes euphorically like a shaken bottle, spraying good times and hedonistic disco rhythms all over those in listening range.

Taken from their self-titled debut album, it is the latest dancefloor filler from TTRRUUCES – made up of the enigmatic duo and their fictional characters – who have been making waves with their genre-blurring dedication to their sonic storytelling, a mish-mash of 60s psychedelia, addictive indie-pop and feel-good disco.

The directorial debut of Izzy B. Phillips, the frontwoman of Brighton band Black Honey, the sequin-splattered visuals are a kaleidoscopic, hip-shaking night of debauchery – filmed late last year at Dalston’s iconic Ridley Road Market Bar in East London.

Phillips explains: “The disco was magic to make, for me it’s a London Fear & Loathing twist on the classic disco we all know and love. I’m excited to put this video out and loved the concept of the album so working with Nat and Jules came really naturally to me.”
