With nostalgic 80s rhythms and oscillating synths, indie-pop trio The Ivy drop their electrifying new track “Runaway Daydream”. Ahead of their EP “We Move Faster At Night” dropping tomorrow, the band transport us to long sunset drives and into a mesmerising soundscape of emotion. The dreamy indie tune explores the idea of chasing a person but never getting it right, with the chorus describing that moment of realisation and how in the end it all falls apart.

The Ivy have been gaining traction in the industry for a while, having gained more than eight million streams on Spotify alone and their hit single “Have You Ever Been In Love” recently surpassing Gold. The Oklahoma-hailed trio are making waves with their wistful sound and we can’t wait to hear more.
