Year-in year-out, velvet – in all its sumptuous luxury and timeless texture – continues to be a elevating staple in our wardrobes. So naturally, for its Fall/Winter 2020-2021 ready-to-wear collection from artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior have infused the fabric into its accessories offering – and it’s just shot to the top of our must-have wishlists.

Using a three-dimensional embroidery technique, the velvet features on everything from monogrammed slip-ons, to the Dior Oblique motifs on the iconic Lady Dior, Dior Book Tote, Saddle and Diorcamp bags – giving another dimension in burgundys to midnight blues, blacks and browns.
