Straight to the top of our shopping list, Berluti have dropped SIGNATURE, their first ever pattern canvas emblazoned with the brand’s distinctive seal.

Combining their famed hand-patinated Venezia leather with Berluti’s new logo, artistic director Kris Van Assche was inspired by Alessandro Berluti’s very first pair of shoes made and created a beautiful new motif – a tribute to the art of calligraphy created by Olga Berluti.

The signature canvas is printed over a black background with various shades of grey, coated in the resist fabric for everyday use. The new collection sees a variety of briefcases, cross-body bags, totes and backpacks – perfect for travelling or everyday use. Let the obsession begin.

“My idea was to design a printed canvas that would look as if it had always existed in the archives,” explained Assche. “The more I think of the future, the more I want to anchor it in a historical context. The SIGNATURE Canvas creates a bridge between the past and the present.”

The collection which was first unveiled during Berluti’s Winter 2020 show, is now available in stores and online.
