Rock soloist Drew Davies is back with a brand new music video for latest single “X and Y”. Taken from his upcoming self-titled album, the latest single takes a rebellious stance on gender norms with empowering lyrics and warming vocals. Inspired by iconic rock acts The National and Scott Walker, Davies creates a genre-bending and timeless sound similar to Sam Fender and David Bowie as he creates multiple layers of meaning in this stunning video.

Speaking on his latest release Davies says: “The video for X and Y acts as a waypoint in time, given that the lockdown was announced hours after we finished shooting. There was a strange atmosphere in the air and London was pretty much like a ghost town; I think because of this and the work of Henry Croston (Director) the video acts as a time capsule for what’s been a very unusual period in our lives.”
