NAWAS are not just one thing. From the opening bars of their brand new song “Nevermind”, this much is clear.

R&B instrumentals flutter seductively in the intro, followed by a spellbinding falsetto, but it’s the crashing 80-synth crescendo that that reminds you there’s something completely unique at play here. And the contemplative lyrics softly plea with the listener, reminding you of all the loves that got away.

The Nashville based duo are made up of childhood friends Jake Nawas and Ben McDaniel, and have been making a name for themselves with their soulful explorations of the ups and downs of life, and the gut-wrenching lost loves.

Authenticity and honesty are at the heart of their music, sonically imbuing their singles with a rawness not found in industry newcomers. Watch this space.
