With so much uncertainty outside, it’s not surprising that we’re craving some tunes and light comic relief. Thankfully, one artist that is bringing it in swathes is UK-based Italian artist KIOL with his brand new track.

Aptly named “Lonely”, the sun-soaked single, taken from his forthcoming DIY debut album Techno Drug Store, is a uplifting ode to making mischief alone, and how we might feel alone, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Expect feel-good synth-packed melodies, an addictive chorus, not to mention the tongue-in-cheek visuals which see him in various quarantine outfits in his living room. Filmed on his phone over 24 hours in isolation, the montage sees him in different degrees of boredom, from having a boogie in front of his sofa, to chilling in his dressing gown.
