London duo Cherryade release their new EP

London-hailed pop pioneers Cherryade are back with their new EP “Sinking Ship” encompassing a new positive tone. “Sinking Ship” sees the duo switch up their usual political lyrics for a more playful vibe – with their songs about creepy priests, murderous gold diggers and Theresa May taking a backseat for now. The EP has a more fun and positive tone with their self-love anthem “I Love Me” and fun dance track “Do My Thing”.

Speaking on the EP Ella states, “It’s hard to go a day without being bombarded with depressing news about Boris and Trump, or reading constant headlines about people being attacked for their sexuality, gender identity or race. That really weighs on me a lot, so we wrote this about believing in yourself even if you’re ‘different’ – hopefully it’ll help someone else keep their head up as well.”
