In aid of the current coronavirus crisis, the Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation have committed $10 million to the teams, partners and communities impacted by the pandemic. The donation helps to provide financial grants through the Emergency Assistance Foundation for Ralph Lauren colleagues facing special circumstances like medical, eldercare or childcare needs. As well as contributing to the World Health Organisation to support countries in preventing, detecting, and responding to the pandemic, and support the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) for those in the fashion industry who are affected by the pandemic.
President and Chief Executive Officer Patrice Louvet of the Foundation said: “We recognise that this is an unprecedented, multifaceted crisis which demands different responses for different needs in different places. That is why we are funding multiple activities to support our teams, our partners and our communities around the world.”
In addition, Ralph Lauren have started production of 250,000 masks and isolation gowns with their manufacturing partners to help ease the shortage during this crucial time.
