Bass erupts and reverberates the bones within the first few opening bars of “Ghoster”, the electric new track from boundary-pushing newcomer Regulus Red – who laments the social media phenomenon of ghosting. *sad face*
Inspired by pop behemoths such as Lorde, Mika, P!nk, Troye Sivan, Madonna and Lady Gaga, the Welsh-Italian singer-songwriter has been making waves with his simmering brand of electro-synth pop, and his latest track is no exception.
The artist explains: “It’s about people who are scared of emotions, hiding in the virtual world and the aftermath of the ghosting experience. The anger it brings within me.”
