In these cruel winter warmths, you might find yourself seeking warmth from the unlikeliest of sources, but the brand new track from trio Little Monarch will sustain long after the sun has faded.

With lead singer, writer, and producer Casey Kalmenson at the helm, the Californian trio have been making waves for a while now with their dreamy brand of sunshine-exuding indie-pop. “For My Own Sake” is taken from the group’s dreamy new EP “Grains”, and is packed with trickling synths, a textured production and ethereal vocals.

Three-quarters into the track the tempo switches up into “Bloom”, and flourishes with urgency, just like its title.
