It’s a whole new year. But while the sky is still dark, and we’re very much buried in the depths of winter, there’s no better remedy than uplifting new music.
Once such example is “Blossom”, the latest release from KLARA – a slow-burning, hypnotic track with gentle layered instrumentals. And the piercing, undulating vocals from the Swedish singer-songwriter are something which sticks fast in the mind.
“Lyrically the song ‘Blossom’ is written about hopes and dreams,” explains KLARA. “How we carry them with us close to our hearts and are sometimes too shy to show them to others. How we dream big and work hard at the same time as feeling fragile. How we all can feel lonely and isolated even while being surrounded by others. How even though we might have achieved many of these dreams that were once just a seed of thought, we somehow manage to still feel like we are the ones looking in from the outside.”
