You’ll recognise the captivating face of British-Lebanese skateboarder Blondey McCoy since his early days as a 14-year-old rep for Palace Skateboards.
In his latest buzzy move, the disrupter has now been announced as the face of menswear footwear brand Berluti for their SS20 campaign.
Classicism meets contemporary as McCoy’s abstract footwear offsets the stones behind him – with the imagery shot on location in Rome shot by his long-time friend and collaborator Alasdair McLellan.
“Blondey immaculately blends the qualities of an old soul with the lust for life of a new generation,” explains Artistic Director Kris Van Assche. “For Berluti, which historically catered to the likes of Greta Garbo, Robert Mapplethorpe and Patti Smith, his refined rebellious attitude is the spirit with which this maison is entering a new decade.”
