Indie electro R&B artist NoMBe burst into the limelight at the start of 2018 with his debut album They Might’ve Even Loved Me, which received over 200 million streams and placed the artist on multiple one-to-watch lists around the world. Now, he releases new single “Paint California” this first track from his second album Chromatopia.

Dealing primarily with romance and relationships, the young artists lyrics are emotion yet calming, and his songs will peak to you in a way that not many do. An indie pop melody that deals with scenarios everyone can relate to, “Paint California” is only the start of what NoMBe has prepared for 2020. The godson of Chaka Khan, NoMBe’s star status is definitely one to watch in the upcoming years.

“With the new album I wanted to switch things up and tap into a more upbeat sound,” explains NoMBe. “Paint California was one of the first songs that felt incredibly special and I’m so happy it’s finally coming out. Lyrically, it’s an exaggerated way of saying I’d give it all to you… it’s about offering someone the world.”
