Bored of the freezing winter weather and grey skies in London? So are we. If you’re feeling like a break, head to ME Sitges Terramar for a slice of Spanish paradise that will leave you feeling refreshed and happy. Located in Paseo Maritiom, one of Barcelona’s most distinguished sea-side neighbourhoods, the hotel is only 16 miles from Barcelona airport, in a palm-tree surrounded haven that will whisk you away from all your worries.

The ME Sitges boasts 213 rooms and suites, five bars and restaurants, a gym, a spa and meeting rooms. Safe to say, this hotel meets your every need and beyond. A particular highlight for us was the personalised ‘Aura Manager’, who knew the city back to front and tailored our experience so it was truly one of a kind. The beachfront bar, Bermuteria, also deserves a mention, launched this year it features a great snack bar serving exquisite cocktails, and Bali beds to lounge on all day. As evening fell, the rooftop bar was calling to us, with panoramic views and more signature cocktails, the good times continued. However, this is not just a hotel for drinking and dancing, and if you’re wanting to relax, look no further. Offering insane massages, and spa services that focus on realigning your spirituality and mentality, ME Sitges is the ideal place to get your zen back. The fresh, Mediterranean-inspired interiors also incite feelings of calmness ad tranquillity, and the beds are up there with the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in.

Overall, it’s a 10/10 from us: from an Oyster bar, to watching sunsets by the pool, to hiring bikes to ride along the beach, this hotel really does have it all. To find out more, go to the hotel’s website.
