I’m sure all of us were left feeling fairly down-and-out after missing out on Glastonbury tickets last month, but luckily we at Wonderland have a cut-price solution that won’t even require Londoners to leave Zone 2, can you believe it?!

RE–TEXTURED Festival will return to the UK capital for its second year in 2020, taking place between 2-5 April. The festival has sourced talent from across the globe, dotting the performers across the city for a multi-sensory extravaganza, featuring the likes of SOPHIE, Ben UFO and Helena Hauff. Not only that, but the festival has also pledged a 50/50 gender balance for this years’ lineup, a rare instance in an industry so full of misogyny where those in charge are putting their money where their mouths are – vowing to continue to meet this pledge for as long as the festival exists!

Centred around the theme of connection, RE–TEXTURED focuses on the singular with the collective, explored through 6 multi sensory approaches; re—connecting, re—playing, re—writing, re—seeing, re—minding and re—thinking. You get the gist. Expect all styles of tunes, from ambient and drone to leftfield electronic and techno, with RE–TEXTURED inviting music fans to escape the world of digital and immerse themselves in the best bits of London’s thrilling music scene.

So far, the festival has announced the expansive Tobacco Dock and it’s neighbour E1 London, central’s Southbank Centre, and popular East London venues Oval Space and the Village Underground as spaces in the easter egg hunt of musical excellence; with more spaces to be announced in the new year. Each building will host pioneering events specifically designed to explore and celebrate the wonders of experimental electronic music and its surroundings.

Tickets are now on first release online, so grab them quickly as this is sure to be huge.
