Innovative newcomer LVRA, who captivated audiences worldwide with her debut single “U Don’t Have To Like Me”, is back with her latest single “U Should be in Love with Me”, the first track to preview her debut EP LVCID, which will be released in 2020.

Her sound is a refreshingly unique blend of R&B, trap and modernist neo-soul, with underlying Chinese instrumentals that nod to the artist’s heritage. Entirely self-written, recorded and produced, this latest single showcases the young artist’s eclectic range of talents. LVRA’s passionate vocals about love and rejection will resonate with young and old alike.

“U Should be in Love with Me” has the same play-on-repeat quality as her last single, with a genre-defying sound, that mixes East-Asian elements with contemporary alt-pop, that is addictive, and lyrics that are relatable.

“We had this chemistry, and I felt fucking empty when he left the next morning cause I knew it would just be a one night thing. The aftermath was dark, and all I could bring myself to do that day was write this track.”
