Producer Celestine Mangono – aka Celly Pizzaz – just dropped the latest track from his forthcoming project “Street Handsome” – what’s set to be an eclectic, progressive picture of the most exciting emerging artists and producers in the UK. Hailing from East London, the tenacious A&R and executive producer is quickly building a name for himself as a tastemaker, and the project is about to cement that status for 2020.
For new release “Need Me”, Celly called upon UK artist Knucks and rapper and model Lancey Foux, as well as producer Cee Figs. With atmospheric electronic sounds and down-tempo percussion, the track juxtaposes a punchy flow with smooth, sultry sounds to create a versatile mix that could soundtrack anything from a slow Sunday morning to the last hours of an after-party.
On the song and it’s message, Celly says: “Communication is the face of identity in relationships…” Stay tuned for more drops from “Street Handsome”, and listen “Need Me” below.
