You’d be forgiven for thinking that Matt Ryder is older than his 16 years. His textured bedroom production is brooding and has introspection. His vocals, lyrically astute, tender and pleading.

And the 16-year-old Birmingham-hailed artist has now premiered his new song “Further”, the newest track from his debut EP “50FT” – which has more of the same hazy, rainy day vibes.

“The main inspiration behind this track stems from, like most of the tracks in the EP, teenage experience,” explains Matt Ryder. “So many things influence me as a teenager, sometimes it can get super confusing and cause you to make mistakes.”
