The sold-out collaboration is back, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic courier.
That sunshine yellow. And contrast scarlet swoosh-style lettering. Some years ago, the iconic signature branding of international courier company DHL was only synonymous with “your package is here.” But thanks to the renaissance of normcore by Demna Gvasalia of Vetements, the brand has now been embraced with open arms by fashion lovers of all things kitsch and tongue-in-cheek.
One such example is CASETiFY x DHL, the sold-out collaboration with the Instagram-favourite phone accessories brand – which is thankfully back for the second year in a row, just in time for DHL’s 50th anniversary.
Titled “50 Years of DHL”, the collection celebrates the International express provider’s legacy with logo interpretations on limited edition designs, available on a larger range of accessories as well as collectible box sets. Think iPhone and Samsung cases, Apple Watch Bands, AirPods cases, Phone Slings, and even wireless charging pads.
This time around, the collab has debuted a custom case with the choice of two designs: a 1969 version (the founding year of DHL) with vintage package labels, and a 2019 version featuring modern day DHL designs.
And if you consider yourself a bit of a hype beast, up for grabs are also 300 rare, limited edition box sets available for sale globally at various outlets. Each package will feature one-of-a-kind DHL x CASETiFY merchandise, iPhone cases and a phone sling.
