Me Not You, the dream-pop duo behind recent single “I Should Know Better”, will drop their latest track “America” tomorrow, from their upcoming debut album Already Gone.

Garnering 6 million streams on Spotify and touring with electro-pop legend Gary Numan across Canada and the USA, it’s fair to say that Eric Zeiler and Nikki Taylor have had a hell of a year. Influenced by bands such as the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Radiohead and Pixies, Me Not You place themselves firmly within the canon of soft but dynamic indie rock.

“America is a look at the soul of my country”, Nikki explains. “It’s a song about the disconnect between what I thought it was, and what I fear it might be. Especially in the wake of the crisis of mass detentions and the separation of families at our border, I think it’s time we took a long look in the mirror and ask who we are, what we really stand for, and where we go from here.”
