The Big Little Lies actress has already delved into superhero fantasy with a voice role in 2017’s The Lego Batman Movie, and now she’ll be following in the footsteps of superstars such as Eartha Kitt, Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry before her, to play the Catwoman to R-Patz’s Batman. With Jonah Hill reportedly in talks to play an unknown villainous role, The Batman is set to be a box office smash, and Twitter is already bringing in the hot takes and memes after the casting was announced this morning.
