Gorgon City, Jamie Jones, Bedouin… Damian Lazarus knows how to put on a show. The East London DJ brought together a stellar combination of artists from around the globe to join him in Israel for Day Zero Masada: Dwellers of the Dead Sea, on 27th September.

Heading up the buzzy lineup, Lazarus has been working with Day Zero since 2012, when he set out to create a community of creative nomads to celebrate the end of the Mayan calendar. Now, the events attract dwellers to the world heritage site of Masada, for a festival-esque one-of-a-kind experience lasting from sunset to sunrise.

“There was something mystical that arose at the foot of Masada with 15,000 dancers moving to the same beat under a rising desert sun”, Lazarus told us. “I am completely blown away by the vibe shared by each and every person who put their trust in myself, my team and our amazing artists as we created something truly one of a kind together. Now we chart our course to gather our community once again at Day Zero’s birth land in the jungle of Tulum on January 10”.
